1. What special characteristics RAFIKI Calling Card has?

ANSWER:
  • Calling Card is for calling ONLY and NOT for recharging into prepaid services
  • Customer MUST change the default PIN on the first use to secure credit balance
  • Card number is a customer's virtual telephone number, therefore the card MUST always be kept safe for next usage


  • 2. What is Selling price for Rafiki Calling Card?

    ANSWER:
  • Each calling card is sold at TZS 1,000 including VAT.
  • Price includes initial promotional credit of TZS 500


  • 3. How do I change the PIN?

    ANSWER:
  • Dial access code 800400
  • Enter CARD NUMBER followed by # on voice prompt
  • Enter PIN followed by # on voice prompt
  • Press 00 followed by # on voice prompt
  • Press 15 followed by # on voice prompt
  • Listen and follow instructions to enter your new PIN.

    To add airtime in RAFIKI calling card, customer will buy TTCL top up vouchers and follow instructions:-

  • Enter CARD NUMBER followed by # on voice prompt
  • Enter PIN followed by # on voice prompt
  • Press 00 followed by # on voice prompt
  • Press 11 followed by # on voice prompt
  • Enter 12-digits you revealed from TTCL Top Up card followed by #
  • You will here the new balance.

  • 16# to either cancel or restore the PIN
  • 17# to initiate a call with another card
  • 19# to set abbreviated numbers
  • 20# to query abbreviated numbers
  • 33# to access the validity
  • 44# to get call records
  • 77# to access abbreviated account management function

  • Some services listed above will be available later on customer's request;
  • No balance left in your calling card will be lost but you can use another top up card to recharge your current Rafiki calling card.
